I enjoyed the fish burrito and homemade sauces. The burrito was pricey but justified based on the quality and taste. Staff is great, helpful and friendly. Great thing about this place is that there are parking spots available. There are indoor and outdoor seating and lots of neighboring restaurants and bars around.

Excellent food. The flavors were new & fresh yet so authentic to Mexican dishes! Service was pretty good. Everyone is friendly! We really enjoyed our dishes. Fajitas, soup & salad, tacos & enchiladas...all delish !

Always a favorite to bring our friends. We like to come during the week when crowds are less and we can enjoy the area. The tacos are amazing! The carnitas are like no other! Great quac and sangria is another must!

First time trying the cute little Mexican casual restaurant on balboa peninsula. Emma was our server and she was very helpful. She told us that this place is owned by Bear Flag that has a store next to it and is the location of the original bear flag. We ordered their nachos with carnitas, the red snapper skillet and their steak fajitas with a pint of cerveza. They were all amazing. Good size. I am a nachos affacinado and these nachos were awesome. Food 5, ambiance 5, service 5. Will visit again.

My kids love this place! Is a great place for families and after a beach day. The food is authentic and yum . The service is really nice and welcoming. The ambiance is relaxed, clean and makes you feel like you're for sure by the beach.

This place is great! It has a super cute vibe, friendly staff, and the food and drinks are always delicious. Wild Taco is always the go-to spot for my boyfriend and me after the beach and it never disappoints. I really appreciate when restaurants make the effort to include plenty of creative and delicious vegetarian and vegan options that aren't just fake meat. All their veggie tacos are fantastic and not just an afterthought here. If you're vegan, I confirmed the following items are default vegan: - Tofu & Corn Salsa Taco - Veggie Burrito - Tortilla Chips, Salsa, & Guacamole - Cilantro Lime Rice (NOT the Mexican rice, which is made with chicken bouillon) The following items can easily be made vegan if you ask for them without cheese: - Black Beans - Kale & Queso Fresco Taco - Mexi-Cauli Taco - Potato & Black Bean Taco - Baja Bowl

This has been on my list for a long time and i finally got a chance to try it today for lunch. Excellent food. Started with chips, salsa and guac. I got the steak and shrimp fajitas which were so good. My buddy got the fish tacos. Also excellent. Definitely looking forward to returning.
